[Explained] Why other MMORPG's 'copy' World of Warcraft? (Part 1)

OK, things that made me to make this post are mostly bubbles which you can find on any web-site which has something to do with MMORPG's. YouTube is also full of those comments like : ''Ahh another WoW copy,what a fail'' and so on.
These are just few of reasons why I want to write this post including the one which refers to newcomers to MMORPG gaming.

So, why are other MMORPG's copying WoW?
Read the whole post and you will find out!

First of all we must see how the game which everyone is copying has been made, and when.

Here is an answer: Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft on September 2, 2001^. The game was released on November 23, 2004, on the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise. (Quoted from Wikipedia)

So the game is released in 2004, now lets see if there are any similar games to WoW which have been made BEFORE 2004.
Believe it or not, I found a game which is very, I mean very similar to WoW and its been made before it.The name of that game is Everquest and here is the proof also quoted from Wikipedia for you just to see that im not lying:

EverQuest, often shortened to EQ, is a 3D fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that was released on the 16th of March, 1999.

Now I will try to post similarities of those two games just to show you that WoW isnt so original as people think :

Everquest :
Barbarian,Dark Elf,Drakkin,Dwarf,Erudite,Froglok,Gnome,Half Elf,Halfling,High Elf,Human,Iksar,Ogre,Troll,Vah Shir,Wood Elf

World of Warcraft : 

Orcs, Taurans, Trolls, Undeads, Blood Elf, Humans, Gnomes, Dwarfs, Night Elf, Draenei, Worgen, Goblins

If I may say, the graphics are the most different thing between those two titles. EQ has more realistic looking graphics, and WoW has more cartoony-style looking graphics.
I dont see any similarities between graphics with these two games except UI (User Interface) but that will be discussed later.
